Our Facilities & Capabilities
Guardian Ozone manufactures all of its equipment in its Cocoa, FL headquarters facility located along Florida’s beautiful high-technology ‘space coast’. Guardian Ozone draws its strength from our 60+ person in-house staff of engineers, technicians, project managers, administrative staff, and sales professionals located across six US-based offices (FL, OH, CA, WA, NY). Our manufacturing and support team includes certified welders, machinists, and master fabricators, electricians and controls technicians, and field support staff. Regardless of your needs, the Guardian Ozone staff is ready and equipped to help.

His early experiences, from military weapon systems to automotive manufacturing, established his credentials for accelerating ROI. He thrives on integrating innovation across all aspects of business processes.
Chuck Smith
Chief Executive Officer
As Founder and President, Chuck Smith brings over 30 years of experience as an inventor and entrepreneur to Guardian Ozone. Chuck has a long history as a technical visionary and has founded a series of hi-tech companies. Chuck’s passion is developing new and unique applications and markets for the use of ozone.
Jim McClelland
Director of Engineering
Jim McClelland’s passion for advanced engineering comes from nearly 20 years involvement with rockets, aircraft avionics, and geospatial positioning systems at NASA, Rockwell, and Lockheed-Martin. Today, Jim focuses his extensive controls engineering talents on the more earthly pursuit of designing the world’s most advanced ozone systems for Guardian.
Thoram Charanda
R&D Director
Thoram serves as the Director of R&D for GMI and Pinnacle. He gained ample experience in ozone chemistry and disinfection applications over 25+ years. Thoram has built an extensive knowledge base of water and wastewater treatment options which allows him to develop treatment schemes and new devices that can be used in the ozone treatment process.
